The Coastal Plains of India run along both the western and eastern shores of the country, on each side of the Deccan Plateau. They run 6,150 kilometres from the Rann of Kutch in the west to West Bengal in the east. The two primary sections are the Western Coastal Plains and the Eastern Coastal Plains.
